Please let me know if you’re looking for a auhotr for your weblog. You have some really good articles and I believe I would be a good asset. If you ever want to take some of the load off, I’d absolutely love to write some material for your blog in exchange for a link back to mine. Please send me an email if interested. Thank you!
Excellent detail that will enable me to very much fine tune the sidebar and vertical menu.
No, you would need to put on the lowest gcprhias, it still probaly not be the smoothest, Your gcprhias card would need to get a nice upgrade But laptops are not used for gaming so I would make a custom laptop or desktop.
I had a problem with Aristeer’s vertical menu. The background button was gray and did not function. Hmmm. What to do?
What can I say? This is a very complete tutorial, thanks a lot once more time.
Glad you found it helpful! It’s been cool to see you commenting and working through it.
Just finished up this section. Very quick, but that is why we have a pause control. There was alot of information in this section. Very informative.
Hi Zach, I do have a comment about this section , i think this has been the hardest section, only because, i think it would have been easier for you to tell us to take off the transparency first on each section and then we could select the color , so we could have the same color in each section, but didn’t really realize that that was my problem until long time into it.
Also how do we color match the search box with the vertical menu, and the block menu?
Thanks for all your help Zach,
OOOoooooOOoo! I like that piece of feedback a lot!! This is something I struggled with when I was first learning, but totally forgot about! Will definitely cover this in V2.
Are you talking about the box itself, or the block that it’s within? I believe when you’re editing the box properties you can adjust the background color for it. Just make sure there’s not a gradient applied that’s changing it.
Thank you, Zach, I’m so grateful for all your great feedback to my questions. It would have taken me many many hours to figure all this out without your great videos. I can’t thank you enough.
You’re very welcome!
Man, this section is much too fast for me. Being on the right page with you (particularly on blocks within blocks/sidebar) is too quick – I was having to repeatedly stop and reset the video and repeat. Of course, it could be me.
Thanks for the feedback Sam. I’ll definitely keep this in mind! It’s tough because some people complain about the training going too slow, and others complain about it going too fast!!
Your tutorials are awesome! I have the Home edition of Artisteer, because I am still new to it, I wanted to try it out small. I have a question though, how do I put a text box on the side bar? Just a normal text, like if my website is about a restaurant, I would want to put the address and hours open in the side bar. I couldn’t find the option to do that. Thanks!
Hi June, you will want to put it in WordPress and use a text widget. Check out my WordPress training; I explain how to use widgets in it.
Its awesome to see my site getting better and better looking, although it seems you are speeding up your instructions as the modules pass where i did not or barely had to pause your instructions, i find myself even scrolling back to review where you went or what button you clicked.
I’ll watch myself more in v2 to make sure I don’t do this.
